Photoshop: create winterized text effect

In this tutorial, I will show you how to create very nice winterized text effect using Photoshop.



Here is how our final image will look like

Step 1

Create new document. Select Gradient Tool. Click on Edit the Gradient and select color scheme as below

Select Type Tool. I am using Times New Roman but you can use whatever you like.

For the blending option, use the following settings:

For Inner Shadow, use the settings as shown below:

Next image below shows you what I used for Outer Glow

Below are settings I used for Inner Glow

Here is what I used for Bevel and Emboss

Below are settings for Stroke

Let’s add final touches to our image. Select brush tool. I used brush below:

Apply that brush tool and you will the the following result
